FELT for large tanks
 


PIPE COVER

 
 Pre-molded pipe covering made from Rockwool bonded with phenolic resin. AG type (with facing of aluminium reinforced with glass cloth) is available on request. Use for all types of heated and/cooled piping in process industries and buildings. H type has 160 kg/m³.

REPELLENT FELT

 
 Water repellent treated Rockwool application felt. Recommended for anti moisture penetration such as heavy oil tanks etc.
Water repellent properties are reduced in the part of the insulation where the temperature exceeds 120°C

WIRED BLANKET

 
 Flexible Rockwool blanket insulation has one side stitched with 0.5 mm dia. galvanized wire on to No. 22 gauge (0.7 mm dia.) galvanized wire mesh of 1” (25 mm) hexagonal pattern. Used for fittings, valves, large pipes, cylindrical and spherical surfaces of boilers, tanks, vessels, etc.
Other types of metal facings are available on request.
